I play the animated character Stanley In “Meet the Robinsons.” Once I got to see what Stanley looked like, I really got into the voice characterization. Stanley wears a toga and he’s really big and funny. With that in mind I got into character. I had a great time doing Stanley, and this movie is definitely one of my favorites. If you haven’t seen “Meet the Robinsons,” the movie is about this young inventor named Lewis who travels through time in search of his parents. He lives in the incredible time of 2037 where talking frogs, dogs, and dinosaurs are pretty common—this is what makes Disney so cool!
Here’s my favorite line from Stanley in the movie, “Behold, the awesome power of... Mount Vesuvius!” Do you know where Mount Vesuvius is? If you do, give me a holler on my Message Board.
About the movie:
It’s 2037, and Lewis is an orphan with a talent for inventing things. One day, Lewis is taken on an adventure and he meets an incredibly wacky family the Robinsons who also have a knack for inventing things. “Meet the Robinsons” is a Disney CGI-animated film filled with exciting visual effects and an equally exciting story. The theme of the movie is “keep moving forward,” an idea that encourages people to embrace their individuality and to always look to the future.
